Project Engineer/Project Manager

Position summary:

Accent Building Sciences, a leading provider of building science services in the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking an experienced Building Restoration Project Manager. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with at least 3 years in building science.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of contractors;
  • Engage in planning and executing work procedures; interpret specifications, coordinate various phases of restoration projects, and issue/review change orders to ensure additional work is properly assigned and completed;
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to clients' construction schedules;
  • Prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules;
  • 50% local travel;
  • Work from office in Toronto Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, and licensed with PEO;
  • 5 years experience in building restoration projects;
  • Experience with building science;
  • Proficiency in MS office package, particularly in MS Project;
  • Strong Organizational and Communication skills, Strong leadership ability;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English.
